Sanctum gets a big thumbs up from me. It is a nice, casual-friendly (mostly because of the infinite time in the build phases between waves) game that can be a ton of fun both in single player as well as in co-op. It strikes a very nice balance between action and strategy :-]
And as you mentioned, the variety of easter eggs, additions and randomness is always welcome.
